Racing season is definitely in full swing now! Between the sprintcar and the sportmod I am going on 14 days straight working on racecars. Its definitely fun but it can burn a guy out. I am excited we finally go the new body on Geoff's car with the Threewide logo right down the door. It looks pretty good for sure, thanks to Steve Olson for all the help that week, it woulda been tough for us to get to the races without him there. Knoxville Nationals are coming up and I am extremely excited because I will get to help out the guys with the 11K sprintcar of Kraig Kinser. Speaking of Kinsers, Steve won the Kings Royal the other night at Eldora which was really cool as well!
Man, I never thought I might ever think I would need a break from racing. After these two weeks, it might be pushing it! 8 races in 10 days I must say wears a guy out! Between my Dad's sprint car and Geoff's Sportmod, things got a little hectic lately in my world. I sure do love this racing stuff though and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It has been very exciting for me in my racing world getting to see my Dad have a go at it a couple times and getting to see the WoO guys again was awesome. We had to take the 305 down to K-ville and put the 55 wing on it so Ian Madsen could make hotlaps to get his points for the night in the 410s but unfortunately mother nature had other plans and the races cancelled after 2 hours of track work. Geoff has been fast a Boone still. 13th to 2nd on last monday and 16th to 5th this past Saturday. I do have some work to do though. We we're pretty bad at Stuart and the car was outta whack on the rough stuff so I have been calling and texting some good resources to fix our problem. Well until next time, Elbows Up, Make it Happen.
Well, I am super excited to head to Jackson, MN on Saturday. First off I am going to pick up some parts from Steve Kinser for my Dad's sprinter. Secondly, We will be having a booth up there with Kraig Kinser in it signing autographs for a little bit so that will be really cool. I also can't wait to see the whole gang that came down to Ames last year. We had one hell of a time with some people that I have always watched and Idolized growing up so it was really cool for me. Keep watching Facebook updates from me and Scotty "Gilligan" Martin because I'm sure there will be some Wild Turkey American Honey involved!!
Well we had a good weekend for the Threewide family!
Brady Bacon finishes second at ASCS National Series Saturday night in Arkansas
Kraig Kinser finishes third at WoO Sprint Car race in Pocola
Geoff Olson wins 2 races this week in IMCA Northern Sportmod action at Mason City last Sunday and Marshalltown Friday night.
Threewide boys are doin' work!
